While you are still pleasurably stretched out in bed, you are already dreaming of the perfectly prepared slopes. Later during the ample breakfast your whole body is tingling and you can hardly wait any longer. So quickly put your ski boots on and get yourself into the gondola – a perfect day’s skiing awaits you on the pistes of the Zillertal Arena.
The Zillertal Arena extends from Zell in the Zillertal Valley, via Gerlos to Wald-Königsleiten and Krimml-Hochkrimml in SalzburgerLand, making it the largest ski region in the Zillertal Valley. Here you will find the most action-packed winter holiday: 143 kilometres of pistes and 52 lifts, with differences in altitude ranging from 580 to 2,500 metres, and safe and varied skiing for all abilities. In brief: sheer winter enjoyment. And best of all: our Alpenland is located right alongside the new Dorfbahn gondola lift and the ski run in Gerlos.
The highlights:
The professional skiers of tomorrow are right at home here with us: wonderful children’s slopes, special practice lifts and large children’s areas make the Zillertal Arena the perfect skiing terrain for families with children. At the 9 ski schools in the Zillertal Arena, they know exactly how to teach children to ski the fun way – and of course the major skiing race for children with a prize ceremony at the end of the ski course is an absolute must. Young skiers who have had a little more practice will master their first obstacles on the fun runs, speed-check stretches and funparks that have been specially developed for little ones. There is also a child collection service, air-balloon take-offs, snow sailing, tyre slides, a children’s ski disco and of course a kindergarten for children aged 1 and over.
